Therefore, article 5 of the production sharing agreement on 7th-October 2000, and a joint operating committee was established to supervise the work of the operator during both development and production phases.

Some of the sub committees and project teams which were established by the JOC are:
– Contracting and Procurement.
– Work programs and Budgets.
– Technical / Operations.
– Yemenization and Training.
– Field operation project teams.
